Style Crush: Nicole Richie

Nicole Richie is a mother, an entrepreneur, and a style icon. Despite her numerous life experiences that have made her tabloid fodder, her style has been the one thing that has stood out to me. It has changed significantly since she was introduced to the masses as Paris Hilton’s traveling companion on the Simple Life back in 2003. She is hilarious, original, and not afraid to be herself. She also has a pretty cool name..not that I’m biased.

Nicole has her own line House of Harlow 1960 which originally began as jewelry, but has now grown to an entire range of items. The line most recently launched a collection with Revolve and includes plenty of great pieces (featured below). What I like most about Nicole’s style is how simple pieces are paired with trendy pieces and together create a classic look. She embraces trends and even creates them herself.

The looks I’ve chosen to feature here are looks that encompass the idea I mentioned above. They are looks that can be worn just about anywhere, aren’t too loud or trendy, and the pieces could be mixed and matched to create even more looks. They are incredibly easy to pull off because they are put together but casual enough to be worn for any occasion. There are a variety of looks featured so it’s easy to find something new to try or a classic to recreate.
