My Go-To Fall Outfits

The strange thing about fall around here is it lasts for about 15 minutes. It honestly didn’t cool down the slightest until about last week when it rained one Sunday and suddenly everything was freezing. Now every morning I leave it’s under 50 degrees which almost full blown arctic winter to an Arizonan. It does get colder, but I shudder thinking about what’s to come.

I mention this because I brilliantly thought I would share my go-to outfit formulas for fall similar to summer, but shortly I realized fall is much shorter than summer around these parts. Thus, these outfits quickly change in a New York minute to something else, but I decided to roll with it anyway because hopefully anyone reading this has a better fall and could use some inspiration.

Outfit formulas have a way of coming together typically on their own. They usually begin with items or pieces I love quite a bit or something trendy for the season. They become my easy to put together outfits when I’m rushed or don’t want to give much thought to an outfit. Plus with things like sweaters typically people own more than one so it’s not really just wearing the same thing over and over. There’s opportunity to mix it up with similar items already mixed into my closet. Although most of my choices are “this black sweater or this other black sweater?”
