Reebok’s #perfectnever campaign got a new face last October with Gigi Hadid, and I am obsessed. The campaign seeks to get women to celebrate and be motivated by their imperfections. While I’m not sure my perfectionist personality can completely get behind that idea, the campaign and its athletic styles I can get behind.
Working out can be tough. It requires a lot of dedication and motivation not to mention the physical activity. Looking stylish can definitely help just a little bit. There are three different Gigi looks to shop online at Reebok.com and I can honestly say there are so many pieces worth buying. I was surprised because Reebok really isn’t my go to when it comes to sportwear, but this campaign has changed my mind. Not just because I wish I was as fit and could box like Gigi.
I really like how minimal the collection is, with the exception of the spike leggings. They are basic colors nothing too fancy but still a really big impact. The metallic sneakers are just so cool. Below you’ll find some of my favorite items and photos of the campaign. Check out the rest of the collection and campaign here.
Just yesterday Victoria Beckham’s range for Target hit stores and online. I woke up pretty excited about adding some pieces to my wardrobe but felt a little overwhelmed. There’s about 200 pieces for women and children from clothing to accessories. When finally browsing I was still a little undecided.
I really like the choice of fabrics and find the colors to be charming. I don’t feel as though many of the items would be universal to my body type though. I do enjoy they fit cohesively with a runway collection she debuted a couple seasons back that I wrote about for another website. I was met with disappointment finding out many of the items were only available in store and yet no store around me. Until recently when I checked the website again to find plenty of the pieces were in stock.
I do love many pieces of this collection and they are slightly affordable. I think they are definitely worth the price just on looks alone, but I have yet to try any of them on in store. That said, I chose my favorites (although I really do also want a scarf) in case you need some convincing. I am seriously eyeing that retro mini skirt..it would be such a jump outside my comfort zone.
Consider this the Toys R Us big book of toys for gift giving this holiday season
We are just about a week away from Christmas and while I haven’t finished my shopping (still got a few more things to pick up) I have had the time to browse the internet for the coolest gifts for pretty much everyone from moms & dads to hostess gifts.
New month new Who What Wear collection releases to attend to. The newest releases from the collection are mostly holiday oriented which makes sense as holiday season is arriving quickly.
There are tons of pieces to mix and match for holiday gatherings, chic days at the office or to make daily life a little more sparkly. As usual my favorite pieces are the ones that I can use over and over without getting sick of them. The holiday collection has a few pieces I feel would best be saved for seasonal activities. For example, the sparkly tank top and pencil skirt. I’m not exactly sure my personal style is daring enough to try to pull that off for any other occasion. That said, they sure are pretty to look at.
Another one of my favorite pieces is the bodysuit. I finally purchased a bodysuit, but found it to be rather an uncomfortable cut but I’ve seen this WWW in the store and I must say I much prefer it to many of the others I’ve seen (or own). Plus the sizing with this entire collection is much more universal to actual bodies, so I have no doubt it even fits better than most.
Now let’s talk about that faux fur coat. I need it in my life, but living in the desert, how worth it is it?! Either way it is incredibly stylish and I am jealous of anyone who lives in a local where they can rock it.
My bank account is severely upset it is fall. The worst part isn’t even the money being spent on sweaters and PSLs, but the fact I can’t even wear a majority of my stylish new clothes yet. Sure in the morning when I leave for work my sweater looks chic and adorable, but by my afternoon drive I’m stuck wearing a tank top fighting a glaring sunset in 90 degree heat. I’m SO over the heat.
It’s been rainy off and on for a few days which has just been sticky and gross. Not at all chilly. Talk about disappointment. Plus that meant everyone was at Starbucks and the guy behind me in line pronounced latte wrong. Just how….I don’t even know where to begin with that one.
BUT because I hold true to my #basic girl status, I will still champion fall is the greatest time of the year. Thus why I’m sharing my fall style insp board. Okay so it’s just a really cool looking version of a Pinterest board.
I can’t guarantee this is the only one of these I’ll make this season, but it definitely contains some of my favorite images from around the internet and Pinterest. If only Zara would restock that lace bodysuit…then I’d be golden.
London Fashion Week is in full swing, and one of my favorite shows to catch up on is Topshop Unique. Topshop is a staple of my closet and life. I’m always browsing for new things because they are always up on the new trends. Topshop is way of life sometimes, and Topshop Unique adds a little something extra to a invest in.
Spring/Summer had one theme: the 80s. Not even just the 80s, but the 80s new wave. There are brightly colored pieces, animal prints, and vinyl skirts. They give off the feel of being the coolest girl heading off to a club to see Talking Heads. There was also quite a few business casual pieces like trousers and blazers which were mixed with these new wave-esque pieces. I didn’t hate it. As per usual, Topshop Unique had edginess with a softer touch tomboy looks as well. For example florals and feminine pinks mixed with harsher denims. Oh, and Zebra > Leopard. There’s really something for everyone.
