October might be my favorite month. There’s this feeling where everything is changing (yes, dying leaves are great and we don’t even have them here), and the weather finally becomes tolerable. There are tons more things to do and explore. So beware for the next month this blog is going to be filled with so many things I love including classic horror movies, chilly weather clothes, and Halloween.
First up my fall wish list. AKA all the things I really want to buy but probably shouldn’t. How could I possibly say no to the H&M jersey dress? They did send it to me in a marketing email as a Halloween costume so I mean…it serves multiple purposes. I’ve mentioned wanting a burgundy/wine colored sweater before and I think I’ll definitely be scooping up this one. The other items are just pretty little things that have caught my eye over the past few weeks. I’m currently working on a fall shop for the blog filled with things I love and recommend for the next few months. Hopefully that will be done and up soon.
SHOP: Sweater, jeans, Rolling Stones tee, ankle boots, handbag, chambray shirt, rings, dress
While browsing the internet there’s been tons of posts about what to wear this fall. Everything from the color red to bags with fur accents. There’s a lot of time spent saying “why” or “I would never wear this.” But then there’s also a 99% chance there will be a burgundy/wine colored sweater in my closet in the next 4 weeks. It happens. Since there are so many trends I choose just some of my favorites making them the ones that truly matter.
Fashion Month is pretty much the greatest procrastination tool ever created. There’s so many things to look at which ultimately take the greatest amount of time away from things I should be doing. In the street style snaps there was one really common look done a variety of ways but featured two main pieces: boyfriend blazers + jeans.
I think I’ve mentioned I am in need of serious outfit inspiration about 36,000 times on this blog now. At least it’s time for Fashion Month (!!!) which means tons and tons of new street style almost daily. Of course I’ll be the first to admit street style definitely isn’t something I can fully pull off around here because you’ll be looked at like an alien if you’re wearing anything remotely put together or fashion forward. But, there are definitely some looks in this lot that are pretty adaptable to everyday life or just dang aesthetically pleasing to look at.
I feel like this is turning into a Madewell fan blog, but when I saw their fall lookbook I just had to write about it. There’s so many pieces I want to add to my wardrobe. Colder weather is my all time favorite despite the fact I hate being cold. I love layers, knits, and especially a good pair of jeans.
Madewell’s fall lookbook is filled with just those things. Tons of layers, denim, and is menswear inspired. I’m usually a little hesitant to try menswear pieces because I just don’t think they are super flattering to my body. That being said these seem to have very feminine dimensions to them.

Ah Zara, the one place I can be found when it feels like everything in the world isn’t going that great. Okay maybe I should find better ways of dealing with unpleasant emotions rather than spending money or valuable time wandering around Zara. Hey, to each their own. Regardless, I think it’s pretty well known Zara is one of my all time favorite places to shop. One of their gigantic sales is still going on, but an all new collection has just hit the web. There’s a pair of very polarizing leggings.
Reebok’s #perfectnever campaign got a new face last October with Gigi Hadid, and I am obsessed. The campaign seeks to get women to celebrate and be motivated by their imperfections. While I’m not sure my perfectionist personality can completely get behind that idea, the campaign and its athletic styles I can get behind.
Working out can be tough. It requires a lot of dedication and motivation not to mention the physical activity. Looking stylish can definitely help just a little bit. There are three different Gigi looks to shop online at Reebok.com and I can honestly say there are so many pieces worth buying. I was surprised because Reebok really isn’t my go to when it comes to sportwear, but this campaign has changed my mind. Not just because I wish I was as fit and could box like Gigi.
I really like how minimal the collection is, with the exception of the spike leggings. They are basic colors nothing too fancy but still a really big impact. The metallic sneakers are just so cool. Below you’ll find some of my favorite items and photos of the campaign. Check out the rest of the collection and campaign here.
