Links I Love 006

This weekend I have a little fall break and I use that term loosely. While I have a “break” I’m not much of a break person. I just find something to do or get ahead with so I’m not stressed later. Unfortunately I’ll likely be cleaning or organizing, but hopefully I’ll get to make some yummy food (or some sea salt chocolate chip cookies at least).

As usual here are some really interesting and, hopefully, fun things from around the Internet. Sorry it’s a little design centric this time, but those were definitely some interesting reads over the last week or so.

Enjoy!

Sorry for the sparse posting as of late. I’m lacking a bit of motivation and inspiration right now. I’m also working so incredibly hard on so many things all at once. I’m a bit of an overachiever I’ll admit. Most of the things I’m being bogged down by are almost over, so hopefully now I’ll be able to post more regularly.

That said this weekend I’ll be attending a sip and see for my friend’s new baby. Apparently sip and sees  are a real thing and not just something seen on the Real Housewives franchise. While I find the concept utterly baffling, I guess that’s a thing I will be doing. Hopefully with far less drama than an episode of the Real Housewives of whatever. I also hope it doesn’t begin to stir any sort of baby fever within me because babies are the most fun when they aren’t yours and you get to pass them back. But one thing is for sure, getting older sucks when everyone reminds you where you should be in life, but just aren’t.

Talk about being a Debbie Downer. Instead enjoy some fun things from around the internet, and have a great weekend.

Before I take off for what hopefully will be a fun but relaxing weekend, I thought I would share some stuff from around the internet I found interesting. There’s tons of different stuff. Maybe you’ll need some fun conversation starters over the weekend so check out the stories below. There’s a flashlight made of paper, the grossest Instagram account, and even insights into mindful meditation.

Ah, the weekend. The time where I should be doing a whole lot of nothing, but I’ll likely end up stressing about everything I haven’t done. You know, the stuff I keep saying I’ll do tomorrow or the next day, but then eventually run out of days to do? I feel like I constantly need to be productive or I’m a complete sham of a person. Yikes. Hopefully sometime this weekend I’ll manage to binge watch Wet Hot American Summer: 10 Years Later.

Whatever I manage to do I’m sure it will be fun or at least productive, but I did put together some other cool things from around the internet to share. So enjoy!

Well, the weekend is finally upon us. I will be taking my heartbroken little self to see The Big Sick. This might possibly be a terrible idea considering it is being called one, if not the, greatest romantic comedy in some time. I suppose maybe there’s an upside or some wishful thinking that maybe, just maybe, it will all work out someday. Who knows? If all else fails I will simply embarrass myself with a full on public cry.

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend, but first here’s some really fun and interesting stuff from across the web. Enjoy!

Links I Love

It’s Friday and technically the weekend. Well at least as far as I’m concerned because I’ll be taking the weekend off to heal from some lame health stuff. Rather than leave this blog lacking updates I thought I would do something I’ve done on previous blogs that was pretty well received: Links I Love. Basically, Links I Love, is just that. Links of things you should read, know about, listen to, etc for the weekend ahead. Little slices of the web that peak my interest I want to share with you.

I’m hoping to have regular content up and running again on Monday but until then enjoy some interesting internet stuff.
